I’m a beginning photographer and intend to use this blog to post my work. I am married to a wonderful man and we have a beautiful kitty, Petrie, to complete our family. I have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and am pursuing a master’s in the same field. I used to play trombone (and wish I still did), I love to read, discuss philosophy, debate, and of course, take pictures.

As for the banner photo, I would recognize those feet anywhere. I used to follow them through all the parks in Columbia, Missouri and up and down several creeks and rivers in Southern Missouri.
